This program includes three areas of specialization:
A: Administrative Data Processing
B: Industrial Data Processing
C: Network Management
Specialization C: Network Management
Network managers work with large companies who have their own IT department or as consultants for small and medium-sized businesses. When working for smaller companies, network managers are often the only ones responsible for ensuring proper functioning of the network. Larger companies generally have more complex and more extensive network configurations. In this case, network managers are responsible for network implementation and migration, ensuring the availability of all required equipment, configuring each of the network’s components and ensuring they are functional, supervising network operation, overseeing security and providing support to users. Network managers spend a good amount of time involved in problem-solving activities.
