This program trains individuals to become technicians able to work in a variety of companies in the industrial sector: paper, metals extraction, primary processing and manufacturing of metal products, food, wood, petrochemistry, transportation of materials or maintenance service sub-contractors. In fact, industrial maintenance technicians can be found in practically every industrial sector, including construction.
The tasks of these technicians mainly involve ensuring that facilities and equipment are in keeping with existing standards and plans, identifying and analyzing issues related to equipment operation, helping design, create and optimize equipment, designing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, providing in-house technical assistance and resolving various issues related to maintenance and equipment performance.
