It was mainly job opportunities that made me decide to come study in Quebec. Throughout my studies, competent people and resources guided and supported me, both in my schooling and success. Integrating into the job market went well; even though I experienced some struggles, the coaching I’d received enabled me to overcome them.
It’s now been over five years since I left Réunion Island to settle in Quebec, and I’m currently working as a nurse in the Saint-Georges hospital. Upon entering the job market, I felt comfortable right away. I met some amazing people that I really enjoy working with. I feel like I can fully develop my professional career while maintaining a healthy balance between work, leisure, and friends.
