My name is Marion de Climmer, and I’m from France. After working in pastry for ten years, I decided to return to school to study management in order to start my own business. To do so, I chose the Accounting and Management Technology (Techniques de comptabilité et de gestion) program at Cégep Gérald-Godin. It was not without some apprehension — in part about going back to school and in part because the system was totally foreign to me — but my worries quickly dissipated. My teachers are always available and are very attentive. I have a two-year-old boy, who comes with his share of the unexpected, but my teachers have always been understanding. We’ve always been able to make arrangements when necessary. The program is useful and comprehensive, and the Cégep is just the right size and very welcoming. I have no regrets about choosing to study abroad and I can’t wait to learn more!
