Proud heir of the Externat Classique de Longueuil, a day school founded by Franciscans in 1950, Cégep Édouard-Montpetit, was part of the first batch of cégeps created in September 1967. The Cégep a college-level institution that implements high-quality programs of study and training activities for regular students, continuing education learners, and industry alike. With its 16,000 students, this cégep is one of the largest in the world.
