Students in the Radiation Oncology program will learn how to safely use ionizing radiation for the treatment of malignancies, safely operate sophisticated equipment that delivers high energy radiation and care for patients undergoing such treatment. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to write the examination of l’Ordre des technologues en radiologie du Québec. Success in this examination will qualify students as registered technologists and will allow them to work in Canada, in the U.S.A. and many other countries. Graduates must meet provincial French requirements before being granted a work permit in Québec.
